Consulting and actuarial firm Milliman has announced the appointment of Richard Payne as Director & Consulting Actuary for its Life practice in Asia.
For the new role, Payne will be based in Hong Kong. The appointment is set to take effect on the 13th of February 2023.
Collectively, Payne has over two decades of international actuarial experience, beginning his career as an Actuarial Student at Prudential Assurance, where he spent over a decade, chiefly operating as a Risk Management Actuary.
Most recently, Payne served as a senior manager with the Hong Kong Insurance Authority.
Before this, he served as Actuarial Director at Prudential Corporation Asia.
Payne also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
