Life reinsurer Monument Re Limited has announced that Manfred Maske has stepped down from his role as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 19th, 2023, and has been replaced by Carlo Elsinghorst.
Elsinghorst joined the company in 2020 as CEO of Ireland making his way to being appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in April 2022.
During his time at Monument, Elsinghorst has successfully led the Irish team through a series of domestic acquisitions and the growing maturity of the organisation.
In his role as Group CFO, he was responsible for Financial and Actuarial Reporting and Operations, Treasury, Tax, Performance.
