MSIG Europe, the European insurance platform of MSIG Insurance Europe AG and part of the global MS&AD Insurance Group, has announced changes to its senior leadership team in France and Italy.
The appointments form part of the company’s wider strategy to strengthen local expertise, deepen relationships with clients and brokers, and support continued growth across key European markets.
The company has named Olivier Reiz as Country Manager France and appointed Matteo Brioschi as Country Manager Italy, following regulatory approval. MSIG Europe said both appointments reflect its focus on combining strong local market knowledge with international insurance capabilities to deliver value for customers and partners.
Reiz joins MSIG Europe’s French business with extensive experience spanning almost 30 years in the insurance sector. His career includes senior roles with international insurers and consulting firms, including serving as Country Manager France at Liberty Specialty Markets and spending more than 14 years with Chubb.
A qualified actuary, Reiz has built a broad background across technical insurance, business development, organisational transformation and leadership. MSIG Europe said his experience in developing businesses, managing change and building effective teams will support the company’s ambitions in France.
In his new position, he will be responsible for leading MSIG Europe’s French operations, with priorities including strengthening client and broker relationships, supporting sustainable profitable growth and continuing to enhance the company’s market presence through specialist expertise and service.
Brioschi previously served as Underwriting Director at MSIG. Since joining the company in 2022, he has played an important role in supporting the growth and development of the Italian business.
With more than two decades of insurance experience, including leadership positions at Unipol Assicurazioni and Allianz, Brioschi brings extensive underwriting knowledge and a strong understanding of the Italian insurance market. MSIG Europe said his experience will be valuable as the company continues to expand its capabilities and support customers across Italy.
As Country Manager Italy, Brioschi will oversee the branch’s strategic priorities and day-to-day operations, focusing on maintaining strong partnerships, developing the business and delivering insurance solutions that meet the needs of clients and brokers.
MSIG Europe said the appointments demonstrate its continued investment in experienced leaders who understand local markets and share the company’s commitment to service excellence and long-term partnerships.
The company added that strengthening leadership teams in France and Italy will help support closer collaboration with clients and broker partners while reinforcing MSIG Europe’s position as a specialist insurance provider across the region.
