Munich Re-owned specialty insurer HSB (UK & Ireland) has announced the formation of its new Commercial Division, creating a closer alignment between the firms business development, underwriting and claims teams.
The Commercial Division will deliver a more collaborative and seamless customer experience for brokers, insurers and MGAs.
In a press release, HSB noted that the creation of the division is part of the firms “customer experience strategy”.
Leading the Commercial Division is Terry Dyson, who has been appointed Commercial Director.
“Combining the expertise of these teams allows us to deepen customer relationships along the whole customer journey and marks an exciting new phase of our customer experience strategy,” said Dyson.
“Together as the Commercial Division we are building a greater solution for our customers, which enables us to react to market challenges and deliver a sector-leading customer experience.”
Meanwhile, HSB recently announced that its top 10 Internet of Things (IoT) customers achieved an average ROI of 506% in 2021, preventing millions of dollars of potential property and equipment losses.
