HSB Engineering Insurance, a specialist engineering and construction insurer and Munich Re subsidiary, has appointed John Nicholls and Jamie Talbot to new senior underwriting positions within the business.
Nicholls has been promoted to Construction Product Lead within the Underwriting Strategy and Standards team, reporting to Andy Bazley, Underwriting Strategy Manager.
He has 15 years’ industry experience and joined HSB in 2005 as an Underwriting Assistant, later becoming Underwriting Manager for the Central Region in 2012.
Meanwhile, Talbot has been promoted to Regional Underwriting Manager for Central and South, reporting to Rob King, Regional Manager for Central and South.
He has spent 12 years in the insurance industry, working in Underwriting for RSA before joining HSB in 2009 as an Assistant Underwriter and later progressing to Senior Underwriter in 2016.
