AXIS Re, the reinsurance arm of Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings, has announced the appointment of Paul Ng as Reinsurance Treaty Underwriter.
Based in Canada, Ng’s new role will include providing AXIS Re’s reinsurance partners and cedents with specialist underwriting expertise and customer service.
He will be reporting to Jessica Coburn, Reinsurance Underwriting Head, Canada.
Ng is joining AXIS Re following over nine years at Chubb, where he started as an Assistant Underwriter in 2015 before being appointed Associate, Global Casualty – Major Accounts.
He then became Underwriter, Global Casualty – Major Accounts, and in 2019 he moved on to the role of Senior Underwriter, Global Casualty – Major Accounts, before being named Team Lead, Global Casualty – Major Accounts.
In 2022 he was appointed AVP, Underwriting Manager at Chubb, his most recent role prior to his new role with AXIS Re.
