The North American division of global insurer QBE has appointed Dan Moore as Chief Operating Officer.
Effective immediately, Moore will lead claims, technology and operations and oversee communications and branding.
He reports to QBE North America Chief Executive Officer Todd Jones and will serve as a member of the company’s executive committee.
Moore has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance and consulting industries.
Before this appointment, he had been serving as Head of Operations since August 2018 and COO on an interim basis since January 30 of this year.

“Since he joined QBE in 2013, he has proven himself as an effective leader who rallies his teams and delivers outstanding results.
“His teams have successfully launched many innovative services to improve customer service such as TextQBE, our AI-powered communications platform that speeds and enhances communications with customers when they have a claim.”
