R-T Specialty, a subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group, has appointed Jonathan Legge as a Senior Vice President (SVP) of its RT ProExec division, which provides professional and executive liability services to the company’s retail clients.
He brings more than 25 years’ industry experience to his new role, which will see him lead RT ProExec’s Transactional Liability and Private Equity Practice.
Legge is a co-founder of Vanbridge, a financial services and asset management firm, where he developed numerous insurance products focused on the private equity space and brokered transactional liability programmes.
Prior to Vanbridge, Legge held a number of positions at reinsurance broker Marsh, most notably as the leader of its FINPRO global private equity practice, where he placed one of the first U.S reps and warranties policies.
He also worked as a broker at Johnson & Higgins before it was acquired by Marsh in 1997, and began his career at American International Group in 1992.
