Ryan Specialty Group has announced the resignation of Tom Clark, who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RSG Underwriting Managers.
Clark will step down from his position as CEO of Ryan Specialty’s underwriting management business from September 30th, 2021.
The company confirmed that Clark is leaving for personal reasons, and assured that Nick Cortezi and Miles Wuller would remain in their respective roles as Chairman and President of RSG Underwriting Managers.
“It is unfortunate that I have to unexpectedly step away from my role at Ryan Specialty due to a private personal matter,” said Clark.
“However, I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a fine team, and I regret that I will not be able to remain a part of this incredible organization.”
Patrick G. Ryan, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Ryan Specialty, also commented: “Tom Clark is one of our industry’s leading professionals, and it is truly unfortunate that his tenure with us is ending so prematurely.”
