SCOR Business Solutions, the large corporate risk insurance arm of global reinsurer SCOR, has announced the appointment of Peter Fordham as Head of North American Binders.
Fordham joined the Channel Syndicate, now SCOR Syndicate, in July 2012 as an Underwriting Assistant and has since held increasingly senior roles.
Most recently, he served as a Senior Underwriter on the North American Property Binders team.
In a recent LinkedIn post, the company said, “Since joining the SCOR Syndicate in 2012, Pete has played a key role in the team’s growth and long-term performance, bringing both technical depth and a strong understanding of the specialty insurance market.
“With extensive experience across market cycles, as well as well-established relationships with coverholders and brokers, he is well positioned to lead the North American Binders business into its next phase of development.
“This appointment reflects SCOR Business Solutions’ continued focus on strengthening its capabilities in the binders segment and sustaining disciplined, profitable growth.”
