SCOR names Emmanuel Joffre as Chief Human Resources Officer

SCOR has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Joffre as Chief Human Resources Officer with immediate effect, reporting to Group Chief Operating Officer, Romain Launay.

SCORBased in Paris after a transition period in New York, he will be responsible for all aspects of the Group’s human resources.

Joffre previously served as SCOR’s Head of Human Resources for the Americas, based in New York, having taken up the post in 2017.

He has over 20 years of professional experience in leading international HR positions in various industries, both in France and globally, having started his career at Fresenius Kabi in 1997, before joining Legrand

In 2002, Joffre transitioned to L’Oréal where he held various HRBP roles in France, before joining Alstom in London in 2008 where he took over as Head of HR for the UK and Ireland Transport Business.

Still in London, he joined AIG and the insurance sector in 2011, before moving to New York in 2012 as Global HRBP for the Claims organization, a position he held until 2015 when he became the HR leader for Personal Insurance, a unit of the AIG P&C Division.

“Emmanuel has extensive experience in human resources, acquired over the course of a very international career, as well as a proven track record of working in very different environments and sectors,” said Romain Launay, Group Chief Operating Officer at SCOR.

“These strengths will help him to pursue and intensify SCOR’s innovative HR policy, which aims to attract and develop the best talent by striving for excellence,” Launay added. “We wish Emmanuel every success for this new phase in his career.”
