SiriusPoint announces Andreas Kull as its new Chief Risk Officer

Specialty insurer and reinsurer, SiriusPoint Ltd., has added Andreas Kull as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO), where he will be responsible for oversight of the company’s enterprise-wide risk management strategy.

andreas-kull-2The appointment is effective March 1st, 2022, and comes as SiriusPoint continues to bolster its culture of underwriting excellence.

Kull will be based in Zurich, Switzerland, and will become a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership team, reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sid Sankaran.

He joins the firm from Bernina Re, where he served as CRO and member of the executive team.

Previously, Kull was the CRO at Tokio Millennium Re AG and has also served as the CRO of AXA Winterthur.

Earlier in his career, Kull spent time as an Executive Director at Ernst & Young and held risk management and actuarial roles at both Converium and Zurich Insurance.
