Following the recent launch of SiriusPoint, a new insurer and reinsurer incepted via the combination of Third Point Re and Sirius Group, the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sid Sankaran, will today ring The Opening Bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The new Bermuda-based company launched on February 26th, 2021 with more than $3 billion in initial capital.
SiriusPoint’s operating companies have a financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) from A.M. Best, Fitch, and S&P, and are licensed to operate in Bermuda, the U.S., Sweden, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, and Singapore.
Commenting on the company’s listing on the NYSE under the ticker symbol SPNT, Sankaran said: “I am delighted to be ringing the Opening Bell at the NYSE in this celebration of renewal.
