South Korea’s DB Insurance completes acquisition of Fortegra

The Fortegra Group, Inc., a global specialty insurance company, has announced the completion of its acquisition by DB Insurance Co., Ltd., a non-life insurance company in South Korea.

The Fortegra GroupThe transaction was initially announced on 26th September 2025, with DB Insurance set to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Fortegra from Tiptree and Warburg Pincus for approximately $1.65 billion in cash.

Fortegra will operate independently, maintaining its existing leadership team, distribution relationships, and underwriting discipline.

Agents, distribution partners, and customers will continue to experience the service that has defined Fortegra.
