Specialist Risk Group (SRG), an insurance intermediary backed by Warburg Pincus and Temasek, has promoted Halim Rosalan to the newly created role of Head of Business, Asia, effective April 13th, 2026.
In his new role, Rosalan will oversee business development, benefits solutions, corporate risk solutions, facultative reinsurance, claims, and, in the future, strategic risk management and specialty.
Most recently, he served as a Principal at Specialist Risk Group. Before this, he spent over three years at Marsh, a global firm specialising in risk, insurance, and consulting services.
At Marsh, Rosalan served in the roles of Head of Business Development and Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of Business Development and VP, Head of Claims Operations and VP, and Deputy Head of Claims Operations and VP. Before his insurance career, Rosalan served as a lawyer for 15 years.
