Starr Insurance Companies has announced the appointment of Kathleen Murphy as Regional Vice President (VP) for the Southeast Region.
Effective from January 13, 2019, Murphy will be responsible for field leadership as well as broker and client relationships.
In this role, Murphy will report directly to Robert Cruz, Senior Vice President, Sales and Distribution, and will be based in Starr’s Atlanta office.
“Kathleen joins Starr with more than 22 years of experience on both the brokerage and carrier sides of the business,” said Cruz.
“Her wealth of knowledge will benefit the growth of our Southeast region and her leadership will help us to develop new channels and strengthen our client and partner relationships,” he added.
Starr’s Southeast Region comprises Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
