Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has appointed Caitlin Shea McGrath as Head of Excess & Surplus (E&S), US.
She has over 17 years experience in specialty insurance, and joined Swiss Re CorSo five years ago.
Most recently, she led the firm’s North America Crisis Management business, before which McGrath served as the Senior Vice President Head Crisis Management & International Casualty Programs, North America.
Before joing the frim, she served as the Vice President National Product Recall and Accidental Contamination Risk Consulting at Lockton Companies for nearly five years.
McGrath has also held roles in the Crisis Management team for Aon Risk Solutions, and was a Broker at Partners Specialty Group, part of Amwins Brokerage.
In the past, she spent over four years at Starr Companies as an Underwriter, Underwriting Associate, Underwriting Analyst, and Underwriting Assistant for the Crisis Management Division.
