Marsh, a risk advisory, insurance broking and reinsurance services firm, has announced the appointment of Tracie Thompson as Global Head of Portfolio Solutions, Marsh Risk, effective immediately.
In her new position, based in New York, Thompson will lead the continued development of Marsh’s regional and global proprietary portfolio solutions, ensuring they are scalable, market-ready, and fully address client requirements.
With over 28 years of experience in the global insurance sector, the executive has established a distinguished career characterised by her expertise in commercial strategy, portfolio optimisation, and the use of data to drive decision making and client value.
Her professional background also includes various leadership roles across the US, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Most recently she served as Global Leader, Strategic Accounts at Cytora, where she supported global re/insurers, brokers, and MGAs in embedding digital underwriting and portfolio optimisation capabilities.
Thompson’s previous experience also includes a tenure at Aon, where she held several high-level positions, notably serving as the CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions for the EMEA region.
In her new position as Marsh, Thompson will be reporting to John Donnelly, President, Global Placement, Marsh Risk, who commented: “In today’s complex risk environment, our portfolio solutions support a fast-growing number of clients in managing their insurance and risk needs more efficiently than what they would receive in the open market.
