Re/insurance holding company W. R. Berkley Corporation has appointed Gary Gudex as President of its subsidiary Berkley North Pacific, effective immediately.
Gudex joins the regional commercial property and casualty insurer with over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
He has served as Director of Underwriting at the corporation’s subsidiary Berkley Net since 2008.
“Gary brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of the business, including vast underwriting expertise and producer relationships that will further enhance our opportunities for profitable growth in this important region,” said W. Robert Berkley, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of W. R. Berkley Corporation.

Prior to joining Berkley, Godex held a number of positions at other leading insurers, focusing on underwriting and producer relationships.
