Re/insurance broker Willis Towers Watson has entered into a corporate partnership with the Airport Operators Association (AOA), a trade body representing UK airports.
Under the arrangement, the AOA will extend Willis Towers Watson’s aviation solutions and advisory expertise to its membership.
The Association believes the partnership will enable it to enhance risk mitigation practices, while promoting the creation of a more resilient industry overall.
In return, Willis Towers Watson will have the opportunity to participate at AOA policymaking forms and outreach opportunities to AOA members, made up of suppliers to the aviation industry.
“We are delighted to formalise our relationship with the AOA, as the UK’s leading airport representative and look forward to working in tandem on future strategic initiatives,” said John Rooley, CEO of Global Aerospace at Willis Towers Watson
Karen Dee, CEO of the Airport Operators Association, also commented: “We are proud to have Willis Towers Watson as our newest Corporate Partner.”
She added: “Their extensive expertise and global reach will be of great value to the AOA’s members, and strengthen further the collaborative community nature of UK airports and UK aviation more generally.
