Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has announced the appointment of Craig Douglas as Director of Energy and Complex Liability.
Based in Bermuda, Douglas will be reporting to Russell Williams, Head of Liability at BMS in Bermuda.
The executive brings to his new role 25 years of industry experience. He joins BMS from One Global, where he played a pivotal role in establishing their Bermuda operations and leading their Bermuda Liability practice.
Prior to One Global, Douglas served as Executive Vice President of RFIB (Bermuda), a role he held for over two years following an eight year tenure at JLT Group, where he was a Partner in the Casualty team.
Douglas has also held roles at Miller Insurance Services Limited, where he served for three years, as well as WTW, where he worked for five years.
BMS has also recently announced the appointment of Rob Neighbour, who is joining the London office as Divisional Director, BMS Energy.
Neighbour is to join the team following the completion of his contractual obligations at Alesco Risk Management Services, where he most recently served as Executive Partner.
