Mary Raveling, Tom Kussurelis, and Anurag Batta are to join Brown & Brown’s senior leadership team.
Raveling, currently the president for property and casualty in the retail segment; Kussurelis, COO for the National Programs segment; and Batta, COO of Bridge Specialty Group will all arrive on the senior leadership team with decades of industry experience.
Raveling joined Brown & Brown during the former’s acquisition of the Hays Companies in 2018, while Kussurelis has been with the company since 2015. Batta was COO of Zurich North America before joining Bridge Specialty Group.
Powell Brown, president and CEO of Brown & Brown, said in a statement: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mary, Tom, and Anurag to the Brown & Brown senior leadership team. Today, each of these teammates plays a vital role in our retail, national programs, and wholesale brokerage operations, respectively.”
He added: “Given their distinct roles and industry experience, each provides a unique perspective in driving forward our shared cultural vision of customer focus and innovative insurance solutions. All three are vital additions to the collective wisdom of our senior leadership team.”
The new of its senior leadership team buttressing comes just a few months after Brown & Brown reported that its Q3 revenue had jumped to $770m, up $96.3m from Q3 2020.
