Independent specialist re/insurance broker, Miller has announced the appointment of Laura McDonough as Head of Professional and Financial Risks, a London based role.
In her new role, McDonough will focus on growing the company’s Professional and Financial Risks offering and developing innovative solutions for our clients globally.
Miller’s new hire brings with her a wealth of experience, most recently in Lockton’s Professional Indemnity insurance practice, where she has been since 2009. Prior to Lockton, McDonough also spent time at both Miller and WTW.
She will report into Tim Norman, Managing Director of Miller’s UK Division, who commented: “It is great to be welcoming Laura back to the team. Her reputation in the market and deep expertise in Professional Indemnity insurance, particularly global construction and property related risks, will be a great asset to our growing team.

According to Miller, McDonough’s appointment reflects the continued growth of the company’s UK Division. It also follows the recent hires of Chris Hardcastle to head Miller’s Delegated Authority team and Matthew Keeping to head Miller’s Property and Casualty team.
