Bermuda headquartered RenaissanceRe’s Board of Directors has nominated former Munich Re executive Torsten Jeworrek to stand for election as an Independent Director.
If elected, he will be appointed to the Investment and Risk Management Committee, and the Investment and Risk Management Committee will consist of Mr. Gray (Chair), Mr. Hennes and Dr. Jeworrek.
From 2003 until his retirement in 2022, Dr. Jeworrek served as a Member of the Board of Management and the CEO Reinsurance of Munich Reinsurance AG. In total, he spent 32 years of his career with Munich Re.
