Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), the insurance arm of Warren Buffett’s global insurance and reinsurance company, has announced the launch of Executive & Professional (E&P) Lines coverage in Switzerland, naming Christoph Kammermann as Head.
Leander Metzger, Country Manager of Switzerland BHSI, said, “Our momentum in Switzerland continues to build quickly with these latest additions to our leadership team and our product line.”

Metzger was appointed Country Manager in the newly opened Zurich office after BHSI entered the Swiss market in July of this year.
Kammermann joins with more than 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was Head of Financial Lines and Professional Liability at Liberty Specialty Markets in Zurich.
He is a graduate of the University of Bern in Switzerland and holds a master’s in Business Administration.
BHSI plan to introduce numerous E&P policies in Switzerland, including D&O Liability and Professional Liability Insurance.
