Global specialty re/insurer Canopius has announced the launch of the ‘Canopius Tech & Data Hub’ in Manchester, UK.
The Hub will begin operating early next year, says Canopius, and will ensure that that company is developing the best possible solutions within the data and technology sphere, while also supporting its strategic goals to become a “future-focused” business.
Canopius adds that the Hub’s establishment will result in the creation of several new technology-focused roles.
The firm notes that technology and data services have become a fundamental part of its offering, adding that as Manchester is the second largest UK centre for financial services, and is home to many talented data and technology professionals, it is the perfect location to launch Canopius’ Tech & Data Hub.

Meanwhile, at the start of October, Canopius Group provided $50 million of insurance coverage for digital assets financial services ecosystem, Matrixport.
